Lemtrans is the largest private freight forwarding company that offers the full gamut of rail freight forwarding services. Our focus areas include domestic, export and import forwarding services and rolling stock maintenance.

Lemtrans is 100% owned by SCM.

Today Lemtrans operates more than 13,500 railway vehicles.

More than 300 companies are partners of Lemtrans, among which are the largest steel, coal mining and other businesses of Ukraine, Russia, CIS and the Baltic countries.

We set up a dedicated office with a control centre staffed with experts in transport management and operations of running and rolling stock to ensure effective cooperation of consignors and consignees with carriers.

Lemtrans is Ukraine’s first shipping agent to have been certified for freight forwarding by the Ministry of Transport.

The company is a member of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA), a full member of the Association of International Freight Forwarders of Ukraine and a licensed operator for the carriage of goods in own (rented) rolling stock.

Our development strategy focuses on increasing the market share and freight operations by buying new open wagons, maintaining the existing fleet and improving the efficiency of our rolling stock by reducing the number of empty runs.
